100% water processed! We find this is both one of the most ecologically sound decaffeination methods out there, but it also leaves the least residual flavor behind and maintains the vibrancy the coffee exhibited to begin with. This starts life as the same decaffeinated raw coffee as our Decaf Colombia, but in this case we roast it deep and dark. Our goal when we roast this coffee is to amplify the milk chocolate and cooca powder and transmute those flavors into deep dark chocolate. All without introducing an overpowering bitter or burnt flavor.
